Lately, we have been inside a lot during the pandemic and this is reflected in our skin. Not being outside or not often causes skin discomfort such as dry skin, more wrinkles, pimples, and even eczema. Fresh air and trees are good for the oxygen content in your body and therefore your skin. You also miss sunlight when sitting indoors a lot. Too much of that is not good, but you need UV radiation for Vitamin D, which is good for the immune system and your skin. To restore your dry skin, you can take a long walk through the forest and then give your skin an extra boost with a beauty routine.
Step 1: take a walk, preferably through the forest. The fresh air gives your skin more oxygen and the outside air allows your skin to absorb vitamin D.
Step 2: for the beauty routine you start by cleaning your skin. For example, use jojoba or grapeseed oil, these oils gently cleanse your skin and remove make-up. Use 10-12 drops of the oil. Massage your skin in circular movements for at least 30 seconds. Remove the oil with a warm and moist compress. The dirt and makeup have now been removed from the skin.
Step 3: Repeat the first step to cleanse the skin.
Step 4: Add a teaspoon of fine salt to 10-12 drops of cleansing oil. The salt stimulates the blood circulation in your skin, removes dead skin cells, and has a disinfecting effect. Massage the oil and salt mixture into the skin in circular movements for about 1 minute, if the mixture feels too coarse on the skin you can add a little water. Remove the oil and salt mixture with a warm and moist compress, twice to make sure that all salt grains are removed from your skin.
Step 5: Massage your skin with Combray oil. To do this, use 8-10 drops of oil. Massage with circular movements from the inside out for 5 minutes. The massage will ensure that your skin can properly absorb the oil, waste products are removed and blood circulation is stimulated. After the massage, let the oil soak for 15 minutes, after which you can remove the excess oil with a tissue. Repeat this beauty routine twice a week and your skin will glow!
