The sun makes our skin thicker. This is a natural protective reaction of the skin because it wants to protect itself against the harmful UV rays of the sun. In addition to thickening our skin from the sun, the skin dries out from the sun. In addition, seawater, chlorine, and air conditioning also contribute to this. Thinning of the horny layer (the top layer of the skin) and moisture recovery is therefore not an unnecessary luxury. The thinning of the horny layer ensures that the skin surface becomes smoother, the skin looks fresher, the skin can better absorb active ingredients from skincare and pores become finer.
Tip 1: Give your skin a peeling, this ensures that the top layer, the horny layer, is thinned. Do you not have a peeling at home or do you want to treat your skin in the most natural way possible? Mix a teaspoon of salt with 6 drops of Combray oil (or other natural oil) and rub it gently into the skin using circular movements.
Tip 2: Use Combray oil as a night mask to deeply nourish the skin. For the night mask, use about 10 drops of the oil and massage it into the skin for 5-10 minutes. Leave the oil on all night and enjoy radiant skin the next day.
Tip 3: Bring the moisture level up from the inside by drinking enough water and “eating”. Think for example of cucumber and spinach, but also cauliflower and green peppers. The “eating” of moisture ensures that our body can convert the nutrients and moisture from these vegetables more easily and end up more easily in the right place, namely the skin.
